I've really wrestled with myself as to whether or not to start a blog. So much so that when Wyatt walked in the door just over a half hour ago I refused to tell him what I was working on. I quickly realized that the vision of me hovering over the laptop and turning the computer any way to escape his vision looked incredibly suspicious. When I finally came clean and showed him what I was working on his first comment was to how lucky I was to have married someone with such a great name. Although I thought his comment was a oddly vain and out of character I shortly realized what he meant.

Maybe someday far, far in the future I can use this to convince him of one of those slightly obscure, gender-neutral baby names I love. Anyway, we went to Europe for our official honeymoon and loved it.
London
Barcelona
I'm glad it only took two seconds to take this picture because that is about how long I can fake a smile when I'm actually terrified and hanging on for my life. Wyatt, on the other hand, had the time of his life.
Rome
Alex and Annie told us about an amazing night walk that I loved so much I made Wyatt do it with me again the very next night.
Paris
Alex and Annie traveled down from Belgium and played with us in Paris. Long story short, I've never loved a city more. After Paris we went back with Alex and Annie to Belgium. In Belgium we went on a beautiful kayaking adventure (that turned out to be a little more than we bargained for), watched Independence Day fireworks and enjoyed the best waffles in the world.
Speaking of food, I cant forget to mention the large amount of McDonald's ice cream and caramel Wyatt and I consumed while on our trip. Thank you Europe for having such an extensive collection of Mcflurry mix-ins.
(Wyatt discovered that his glasses were broken about 30 seconds after we arrived in London so this is what they looked like the whole time)
